With the ever-changing clinical landscape, we understand that access to educational resources and up-to-date information is vital in supporting both you and your patients with best practice.
We are proud to be able to offer our customers a variety of valuable and comprehensive training options to help you, and your teams, meet your training requirements. Ranging from local sessions facilitated by your Sales Executive to peer led study days and workshops with our Clinical Nurses, there are plenty of options to gain ‘hands-on’ experience.
Our renowned gastrostomy study days are open to anyone working in the field of enteral feeding. Held throughout the year at venues across the UK, they provide a unique platform of peer led presentations, practical sessions and workshops to address current issues as well as the opportunity to network with fellow professionals. All we ask for is a small donation for our nominated charities, PINNT and CHAS, to support patients needing enteral and parenteral nutrition.
Our Clinical Nurse Advisors offer regional workshops for a more in-depth training session on device insertion, care and maintenance. They take you through anatomy and physiology, device selection, best-practice for insertion, plus care and maintenance in line with national guidelines. These sessions include the use of hands-on training aids and manikins, so you can be declared competent in the product use in a simulated environment. You can then return to your hospital ready to be supervised and declared competent in a clinical setting by your local training teams.
Our team of Sales Executives offers local training to help your teams get the best from the products you buy from us, supported by our Clinical Nurse Advisors as required. The content varies for each product range but will generally cover best practice on device use, plus care and maintenance, and can be adapted to incorporate your local policies and procedures.
Attendance certificates can be provided to enable your teams to demonstrate their professional development and link to re-validation requirements.
