Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters

PICCs

As with Midlines, Vygon PICCs are ideal for patients whose therapy is expected to last longer than three days, and can stay in place for the duration of therapy. However, PICCs are for use when the infusate does not meet the criteria for a peripheral line, and a central venous tip location is required for long term access.
